We’ve seen firsthand how summer camp builds confidence, creates lifelong friendships, and helps young people discover what they’re truly capable of. That’s why we are running our Camp Scholarship Program again for summer 2027 We’re sending 3 people to camp for FREE Not just because we love travel and new eperiences, but because we believe camp changes people for the better. We want to give this opportunity to individuals who already embody the values that make camp so special: positivity, leadership, kindness, resilience, community spirit, and a desire to make a difference. WHY DID YOU APPLY FOR THE WPUSA SCHOLARSHIP TO GO SUMMER CAMP? The reason I wanted to apply for summer camp & THE WPUSA SCHOLARSHIP, is because all I’ve ever heard about is how amazing the experience is! The culture and the sadness of when people leave camp made me want to experience this sort environment, meeting life long friends whilst exploring a new place. I’ve never been to the USA and I’m most excited to visit New York City. I was supposed to go back in 2020 but unfortunately covid 19 happened so I never got to go. Now this opportunity has come I now get to live that dream! WHAT WOULD YOU SAY TO SOMEONE THINKING ABOUT APPLYING FOR SUMMER CAMP THROUGH WPUSA? I’d say to anyone who’s considering working with Work play USA to go for it! They help you thorough every step and it’s like having your own PA where you can contact them at any time for any help you need! The opportunity where your guided through the process of getting to camp and being supported for whatever you need etc is what made me really appreciate what this opportunity means to me. To travel the world and meet lots of people means everything at this point in my life. Absolutely amazing company! 🇺🇸

WHAT MADE YOU WANT TO APPLY TO WORK AT A SUMMER CAMP IN THE US? I wanted to work abroad and try something new. Get a new experience and go on an adventure I will remember forever and the Work Play USA program was perfect for this! It means a lot! Im so happy I get to do this and I know I will grow mentally from this, as well as having an amazing summer experience. I have never been to the USA. Im most excited to experience camp and all it has to offer. But I'm also excited to see the country and to see new york. WHAT ARE YOU MOST EXCITED ABOUT WHEN IT COMES TO CAMP? To meet new people and make good memories. And of course I'm looking forward to grow as leader in my role as a Riding director and see all young equestrians develop their riding skills. WHATE WOULD YOU SAY TO SOMEONE WHO IS THINKING ABOUT APPLY FOR THE WPUSE SUMMER CAMP PROGRAM? Do it! They're really helpful and make the whole process of getting a placement and getting your visa easily!

WHAT MADE YOU WANT TO APPLY TO WORK AT A USA SUMMER CAMP? I wanted to apply to work at a summer camp in the USA because I was looking for a completely new experience whilst having the opportunity to create amazing memories with new people from different backgrounds. I also applied to work at a summer camp to be able to have the chance to teach soccer to the campers and share my passion for the sport whilst helping develop their skills. This is an opportunity that I am very grateful to have, and I strongly believe that this experience will help me grow as a person by increasing my confidence and independence by working in a different country with new people. I am certain that with the opportunity I have been presented I will have a positive influence on everyone at camp and create a supportive and fun environment for those around me. WHAT WOULD YOU SAY TO SOMEONE THINKING ABOUT APPLYING? I would definitely encourage anyone thinking about applying for Work Play USA to go for it! From my personal experience so far, the process has been really exciting and rewarding, and the team have been very supportive throughout the journey which has helped massively. Although the agency is smaller, I strong believe that this comes with a lot of benefits, most specifically the more personal one-to-one support that you receive from your account manager that definitely helps make the process much less stressful. I believe this is a great opportunity to step outside your comfort zone and create new experiences with new people and I think applying for Work Play USA is the best place to start this journey! HAVE YOU EVER BEEN TO THE US BEFORE? I have been fortunate enough to have already visited the USA twice before, my first time was with my family where we explored the West coast of the USA including places such as Los Angeles, San Francisco and Hawaii which was my personal favourite. I have also visited New York with a friend, this was an incredible experience as I was even able to travel up to Buffalo to see the Niagara Falls which were amazing. Other locations in the USA that I would love to visit after camp include the Grand Canyon and Yellowstone National Park. WHAT ARE YOU MOST EXCITED ABOUT THIS SUMMER? There are many things at camp that I am excited to experience, for instance meeting new people from all backgrounds that I will be able to create amazing new memories with. I am also looking forward to building great relationships with the campers and create fun soccer sessions that they are able to participate in helping improve their skills and most importantly having an enjoyable experience.
